Calle 8 is a proposed high-rise for Brickell's western edge, envisioned as a 68-story tower of roughly 737 feet with about 500 residences above ground-floor retail and a small office component. It is being advanced by Millennium Developments of Brickell, an affiliate of the group behind Aston Martin Residences, and as of late 2025 it remains in Miami-Dade County's review process rather than under construction.
Plans call for a residential mix ranging from one-bedrooms to three-bedroom penthouses, wrapped in a continuous glass curtain wall with evenly stacked balconies and tiered setbacks that create outdoor terraces.
Because the project is still in planning, its amenities should be considered preliminary. Current proposals include a dramatic pool positioned on a high floor overlooking Brickell, spa and wellness areas, a sauna and steam room, and bar and lounge spaces. The site falls within a Rapid Transit Zone near Metromover and Metrorail, a designation meant to support reduced parking and transit-oriented living. Design and program details may change as approvals proceed.
